Who We Are
OUR MISSION
OUR MISSION: The Timmons Foundation advances health equity and structured opportunity for underserved youth and families through three connected programs: youth sports access, nutrition support, and community wellness resources - creating one trusted point of connection for lasting community change.
Where We Work
Founded in North Texas, our model is built to serve locally and scale through community partnerships in additional markets.
Our model is designed for partnership-based expansion and replication in additional markets nationwide. Work in new regions is intended to extend — not replace — our current local operations.
Our Strategic Programs
The Foundation advances its mission through three connected programs, each addressing a critical dimension of community opportunity and family well-being.
Youth Sports Access & Development
Expanding safe, supervised competitive access and youth wellness education through strategic partnerships, including our work alongside Mavs Academy.
Food is Medicine – ProduceRx
Delivering medically-aligned nutrition support to families experiencing food insecurity and elevated chronic disease risk.
Community Health & Wellness
Strengthening access to mental health support, wellness education, community outreach, and health resources that build long-term resilience for youth and families.
Each program is structured to operate with accountability, measurable benchmarks, and sustainable partnership models.
The Timmons Foundation began in North Texas and is building a partnership-based model designed to be replicated in communities nationwide where youth access, nutrition support, and community wellness remain critical needs
